Opening Lesson Materials in a New Tab
Lesson materials open differently depending on where you start from. If you want the teaching slides in their own tab - to share in Lessonspace, to keep beside the classroom, or to read ahead - here is where each path leads.
During a Session
On the Resource Drawer’s Session Agenda tab, the assigned lesson lists its materials - the lesson plan, the teaching slides, and any others - as links marked with a small arrow icon. Click one and it opens in a new browser tab on its own.
- To show it to students online, share your screen in Lessonspace and choose that tab.
- To keep it for yourself, leave the tab open beside the Session and switch between them.
Before a Session
The Next Session card on your Dashboard lists the same materials for your upcoming Session. Click one and the Curriculum Library opens in a new tab with that material already selected, so you can preview it without leaving your Dashboard. See The Next Session Card.
In the Curriculum Library
When you select a material in the Library, it opens in the viewer on the page. To move it into its own tab, click the open-in-new-tab button (a square with an arrow) in the top-right corner of the viewer. Assessments preview in the viewer only. See The Curriculum Library.
